It’s simple. When we are free from attachment to the results of all our applications, we have automatically applied for the kingdom of heaven and are accepted in the first ballot. Even God fills out an application. He wants to enter the kingdom of our hearts. He, too, is anxious to see if His application is accepted. It sometimes can take lifetimes for the answer to His application to arrive. He is patiently waiting for the answers to the 8 billion applications He has sent. He might be fortunate to be accepted in a handful of hearts. All my applications that have been rejected make me happy. There is less work and less stress for me. If the application to become His instrument is accepted, then, I think the Lord wants this lazy person to put in more effort.
