Athletes, actors, musicians, and other talented people who totally dedicate themselves to their crafts become masters of it. Spiritual masters spend most of their time on spirituality. If you eat, drink and concentrate on one subject, soon you will become real good at it. I am a jack-of-all-trades and master-of-none, as I get bored easily. I am a certified diver with an instructor’s license, a second degree blackbelt in Taekwondo. I have travelled with spiritual Masters and I used to get up early to sit in silence. Now I do none of the above. It is like swimming. Once I know how to swim well I will not be interested in swimming across the English Channel. I admire those who become experts at what they do, as I do not have the same drive. My spiritual Masters gave me enough to float on the waves of life but not to surf on 100 foot waves. You must really want it to become a master of anything. Satish Daryanani
