The song by Milli Vanilli, “Blame It on the Rain,” makes it easy for us to blame everything but ourselves. Only you are to be blamed for everything that happens to you. Even not receiving grace is on you, as you were probably not receptive. Not experiencing God is on you. How much one-way love can God keep on giving? The teachings go out to everyone equally. What use you make out of them is totally up to you. If there is fear in your life, it is due to a lack of faith. If you are absentminded and clumsy, it is because you lack focus. If you are hot-tempered and impatient, like me, it is due to your big ego and wanting things done your way. Everything is in your hands. Build a good immune system and the virus will be scared of you. So, the lyrics to my new song is, “Blame it on me, O Lord, as I am not able to realize the true knowledge of Your master plan.”— Satish Daryanani
