The first type of blessing is a blank check. You want unlimited wealth, wisdom, peace, and the absolute truth, and so on. The other blessing is a check with a specific amount. A good job, a good spouse, good results in an examination, free from a specific health issue, etc. Then there are those who pray to the Lord, “Please bless me so that I do not bother You for blessings. Whatever You give me is a blessing and what You do not give me is a bigger blessing.” If a person talks about vegetarianism, he will be blessed by becoming a vegetarian.
