In the old days, Indian movies would run three hours long with an interval in the middle to buy junk food and go to the restroom. The directors covered various topics in trying to draw out every emotion from the audience—family drama, love, villains, death, heartbreaks. God, too, is the director of our lives. He gives us experiences to bring out every emotion that He has blessed us with. He does not want to waste even one emotion. The choice is ours, as we want to enjoy the movies. We let the directors make us go through emotional roller coaster rides with laughter, sometimes watery eyes, and some anger towards the villains. We only skim on a few emotions to show we are human. This way the directors egos are not bruised that they made movies that did not affect the audience. — Satish Daryanani
