Checkmate occurs when, no matter what move you make, the game is over. There are some who cannot accept defeat easily and take time to surrender. The King is dead no matter what you do. We, too, must reach a stage where life creates a checkmate for us. We give up and lie down. Then we are reborn with a different outlook in life. We think we are Kings or Queens and, yet, we can be beaten by a pawn. In the game of chess, you are just a piece given a position but you are controlled by the chess player. Being a King or a Queen is only a role. Our moves are limited. So, be a part of this game of chess, but know that one day, we will all fall down. — Satish Daryanani
