When Stephen Curry, of the Golden State Warriors, shoots a three-pointer in basketball, he makes it look effortless. Writing this thought is also effortless. We enjoy peace effortlessly. Whenever there is struggle, the fun of our actions is gone. When practicing meditation, those who have a constipated look while trying to focus are not enjoying themselves. We can breathe, sleep, digest our food, heal, and relax without effort. When we put in effort we are going against our natural state. God made Himself available without our effort. So why do we struggle? We think we can do a better job than the way nature intended it to be. We will age and, one day, even die effortlessly. — Satish Daryanani
