There are so many types of fruits that we eat. We enjoy the sweet and juicy ones. Even the fruits of our labor are of the same varieties—sweet and juicy. We get money, name, fame, power, and possessions. Some prefer the fruits of good karma, going to heaven, peace, becoming a liberated soul, lots of grace, gratitude from those they serve, and hopefully meeting God. These fruits come from our austerities and services. Who is the one who does not seek this fruit? The one who does everything as an offering to the Lord out of boredom. They have nothing to gain or lose. They eat only the fruits from the trees, and not the fruit of their thoughts, words, or actions. — Satish Daryanani
