My spiritual Masters would say, “Everything is due to grace.” I would get upset with them whenever they would say this. I felt that people did not put effort into their austerities or focus on the teachings, as they would tell me, “If grace happens, we will become enlightened.” Today I got the answer: The only austerity required is the complete awareness of grace all the time. Everything from within can be experienced and, for the outer world, you are wearing the armor of grace. The right people, situations, ideas, and opportunities will come.
