Have To Do vs. Want To Do

In school, we have to study, follow all the protocols, listen to and obey our teachers just to graduate. Some doctors continue to go to seminars and improve their craft, not because they have to but because they want to. Most people work for money because they have to while others because they want to. On the path to spirituality, in the beginning, we pray, sit in silence, try to follow the commandments, obey the spiritual Masters because we have to. Once awakened, we have graduated and now still want to sit in silence and continue being students. I don’t have to write these thoughts but I do it because I want to.
