Both the words have hope—only in one situation, you are full of hope and in the other you are hope less. Our lives are based on hope. Politicians, religious leaders, financial advisers, educational institutions, medical industry, and other businesses use this carrot, called hope, to draw us. Hopelessness can be negative or positive. If there is no hope life has no meaning. If one has reached a state where everything is perfect in life no matter what happens then hope is not required. Hope only occurs for the future—not for the past or present. We even hope we like or love. We hope to meet God or go to heaven. We hope for a long, healthy life and so on. If you are on top of the world, what is there to hope for? Everything else is meaningless. For fun, I hope everyone enjoys today’s thought. — Satish Daryanani
