If today was the last day of your life, how would you spend it? If this was your last year, what would your year be like? Similarly, if this was going to be your last time in a human form, what would you do differently? Imagine no coffee, tea, movies, music, food, sports, family, friends, natural beauty, no experience of God, peace, wisdom, and none of those to whom you feel near and dear. We live as if we are coming back again and again, as if this is not our farewell trip. Instead, you would want to maximize the limited time you have and leave with no regrets. What you need to bury are worries, desires, and attachments. There is neither heaven nor hell, you are done—a final goodbye. This is how liberated souls live, knowing that they are free from the cycle of birth and death. Each breath they take is cherished, as that, too, is limited. They are not bothered by climate change, national debt, the end of the world, or any other concerns over the future of mankind. Enjoy the limited years and experience as much variety as you are offered while in this human form. — Satish Daryanani
