When I traveled with my spiritual masters, I realized there were tremendous disparities between them and me. Today, I understand the benefit of my imperfections—I need not be perfect to be connected with the Perfect One. Realization of who you are does not take place because you are perfect. It happens when you are hungry and fed up of being imperfect. Being imperfect makes it easy to inspire others and show the power of grace. Being imperfect makes it hard to take credit for your inner growth. Imperfection frees you from wearing a uniform and having disciples. Your standards are so low that no one can judge you. The most important thing is if I make mistakes when writing these thoughts I will be forgiven, as an imperfect one has written them. — Satish Daryanani
