A. Doctors and medicines are only instruments in the hands of God. Unless God wills it, no one can cure or get cured. A man should do his best with initiative, enterprise, and perseverance, but depend on God’s grace for everything. To bear suffering and accept it as a blessing in disguise from God is great wisdom. Prayers invoke the inner potential of the individual, which flows only from God, and they can certainly work miracles. More important than the actual prayer is your faith in the prayer. All this is wonderful, but without truly believing in it, nothing will work. Even for the doctors and the medicines to work, you must have faith in them.
