For avid walkers, twisted ankles can mess up their daily average of steps taken. We take every small thing for granted, until it is taken away from us. We need small mishaps to learn to appreciate life when everything is normal. When it’s a very hot, cold, or a rainy day, we cannot complain, as we can at least still walk. When our youth will go one day we will feel we did not maximize it. When we eventually leave our human forms we should have no regrets. The only regret I carry in my heart is that I did not trouble my spiritual Masters enough. To my friend, my sprained ankle, thank you for teaching me such a wonderful lesson. I will miss you, as our friendship is short-lived. — Satish Daryanani
