In the old days, you had to perform miracles, like healing people, walking on water or to come back from death, in order to spread the teachings. A few spiritual Masters do perform miracles to draw disciples. Nowadays the magic is Youtube and other social media which help in spreading the teachings. In the past 2000 years we have evolved where the teachings are important and not the source of the teachings. Saints had to have performed at least 2 miracles to determine whether they qualify to be a saint. Now, anyone who helps in reducing your load in life is a saint. The source of these words may come from an average Joe but they can help someone if they are ready. Give value to the teachings or they are just words that can be deleted.
