Sri Swami Marudhachalam Adigalar comes from a pious family that has dedicated themselves to the service of God for hundreds of years. In the lineage of Saint Santalinga Swamigal and under his Guru Santalinga Ramaswamy Adigalar, Swami Marudhachalam runs the Perur Ashram in Coimbatore and the Dhakshinamurthy Math in Ooty. These ashrams provide spiritual, social and educational services and weekly medical clinics for their surrounding communities.
Swami Marudhachalam selflessly dedicates his life to the service of others and to world peace. He has a Ph.D. in Religious Studies and is considered to be an expert in the field of Saiva Siddhanta philosophy.
