All of us would love to have good negotiating skills. It helps you in many ways. What is the secret? First and foremost, put yourself in the other person’s shoes before you start negotiations. Secondly, decide upon the highest and lowest number, depending on which side you are on. No matter what happens, do not go beyond that number. This requires willpower and faith. You get tested, and the inner greed can make you change your mind. If it is the will of God, the negotiations go smoothly. When you feel you are breaking your head against the wall, let the deal go. One day in silence you will thank God for saving you from those deals that did not go through. You will even laugh at your own stupidity for thinking of doing the deals.
