To fulfill the desires of the mind, a body is needed. The poor breath is jammed between the two. Our breath is shallow, or deep, depending on our thoughts. The body, being the extension of the mind, pays a price with diseases. As the mind, so is the body. A peaceful mind gives you a healthy body. You are the boss of all the three instruments. Keep them in check, and the divine energy, or light, gets a chance to express itself through you. Sometimes for temporary pleasure, we lose this opportunity. So let’s keep the mind clean, like a throne on which the Lord comes and rests. Make it so pleasing that He never leaves. This way, the ultimate desire of the mind is fulfilled and the expression of gratitude is shown by the body by serving others. — Satish Daryanani
