I was watching a TV series about a Mexican drug dealer. The kingpin got arrested and lost everything because he wanted more power and money. We put on weight and lose our health because we want to eat more. Even devotees want God more and more. Those who develop inner strength want to grow even more. Wanting more is in our nature. All we can do is choose what we want more of—helping others, giving love, spreading the teachings, making people laugh, spending more and more time in silence.
