Throughout history, there have been very few moments where there has been no war anywhere in the world. The reason is because we are always at war within ourselves—my will vs. God’s will; my way of doing things vs. others’ who do not listen to me; my monkey mind vs. the divinity within me; my political and religious views vs. the views of others; my selfish motives vs. the benefit of everyone; me vs. everything. This inner battle leads to outer battles. Once the fight within oneself stops, automatically there will be peace everywhere. Others can battle but, for you, all wars will have ended. Battles occur because of the ignorance between two or more people. Wise people enjoy life so there is no one to battle with. Satish Daryanani
