You have intelligence and work hard to attain the truth, but still get nowhere. You try to read and listen to all the teachings and yet you see no change in yourself. Then, someone guides you to stop trying to understand and instead to work on experiencing the truth. When this happens, you realize that everything has already been given to you. You understand that each breath you take, the food you digest, and every aspect of your life is due to grace. Now, if everything is already given and everything is already happening: Who are you to think that you are doing anything?
